Franchesca Suazo, born in Virginia, moved to New Mexico at a young age, where she took her first dance class. Soon after, she moved to Arizona, and has danced in the Queen Creek area for most of her life, performing and competing both locally and nationally. She trained with Joshua Brooksher at Brooksher Ballet’s National Academy of Classical Ballet, starting in NACB’s first season. She was invited to compete with NACB’s competition team on a national level, including at the Youth America Grand Prix. Ms. Suazo studied at multiple summer intensives, receiving scholarships to several schools, including Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington DC. Throughout her years spent dancing, Ms. Suazo has assisted and taught classes in ballet and contemporary. After graduating high school with academic honors, she is currently attending Arizona State University and CGCC on a Presidential Academic Scholarship to continue her education. She is proud and excited to serve on the artistic faculty of Brooksher Ballet this season.
